Lockton expands team in power and utilities

Sees growing risk management needs in energy sector

HOUSTON, May 8, 2018 – Lockton has expanded its team in the power and utility sector with the addition of four experienced risk management and insurance executives. Nathan Hudson, Peter McGoldrick, Jonathan Keller and Alexander Post have joined the Lockton Power team as senior vice presidents.

“As our business has grown in Lockton Power, our clients are seeking an ever-deeper level of expertise and advice,” said Tim Kelly, leader of Lockton’s Global Energy and Power business. “These four veterans will join our existing team as part of an ongoing investment in client support for power producers and distributors, utilities and firms in the renewable energy sector.”

Nathan HudsonHudson is a senior vice president responsible for business development and client strategy. He works with clients to understand their strategic objectives and is responsible for the development and execution of risk management programs. He has worked with firms on complex risk issues within thermal power generation, renewables, and the utility space, as well as the construction of new-build combined-cycle power plants. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the industry as both a broker and casualty underwriter. He is a University of Massachusetts at Amherst graduate and holds the CPCU and ARM designations.

Alexander PostPost is a senior vice president, account executive and property specialist. His 17-year career has been dedicated to helping power and utility clients manage the construction all-risk, operational all-risk and other insurance needs of this highly specialized sector. He holds a business degree from Ithaca College.


Pete McGoldrickMcGoldrick is a senior vice president and account executive.  He has a wealth of experience in both the power and utility sector as well as in mergers and acquisition due diligence, working both with insurance carriers and brokers during the past 20 years. He holds a law degree from Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University and a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University.

Jonathan KellerKeller is a senior vice president - account executive and property specialist where he will focus on program design, implementation and delivery of operational property all-risk and construction all-risk insurance programs for power and utility clients both in the US and abroad. He has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry focusing on the power and utility sector as an insurance broker. He holds degrees in economics and government from George Mason University.
