Retirement Tax Reform: The Senate Gets into the Game

Senate Republicans respond to last week's House bill with their own version of tax reform.  This one incorporates public sentiment, including the preservation of tax deferral for qualified retirement plan contributions, but more changes are anticipated before anything is put to a vote.  Of particular note for employers will be the handling of nonqualified deferred compensation.  The latest version of The Beacon provides a summary.
