Logan PayneClients praised the good work of Lockton Associates Logan Payne, Michael Lombardi, Matt Edelheit and Brian Mack in testimonials used to recognize them in Risk & Insurance’s Power Broker recognition. The recognition looks to individuals who have stood out from their peers over the past year for problem solving, customer service and industry knowledge.

Logan Payne, vice president and account executive, and Michael Lombardi, senior vice president and international practice leader, were both named Power Michael LombardiBrokers in the At Large category. Payne worked with Lockton teams to create consistencies for clients who had inconsistencies in coverage that was meant to protect employees while traveling.

“Logan Payne is an incredible service provider. He has in-depth expertise in a wide range of domestic and international risk management issues and is proactive in helping his clients find effective solutions to manage their ever-changing risks,” said one client.

Lombardi achieved synergies exceeding $2.5 million for a large manufacturing client after creating a centralized global program and responsive M&A platform for multiple, roll-in acquisitions over a three-year period.

“Michael Lombardi balances the ability to see the entire picture with the ability to take care of details,” said the vice president, risk management, at a health care services and products company.

Edelheit, senior vice president in Lockton’s Denver office, was recognized as Power Broker in the workers’ compensation category after helping a client customize an insurance program that reduced the client’s retentions, reduced their total cost of risk and removed more than $1.8M of historical losses that would have otherwise been collateralized.

“Matt was an unbelievable resource in helping me understand it all,” said a client. “I call him for everything, and he always takes the call.”

Mack, senior vice president and construction practice manager, was a finalist for Power Broker in the construction category. Mack has worked with many large and complex construction and real estate clients. He has helped them with guaranteed-cost and large-deductible casualty placements, complicated placements for clients exceeding $1 billion, captives, owner/contractor controlled insurance programs and environmental and professional liability coverage.

The Power Broker recognition focuses on recent accomplishments by looking at recent challenges and solutions.
