CA implements hotel housekeeping rule to prevent injuries

Hotel housekeeping is a physically arduous task and hotel housekeepers are exposed to serious occupational risks during their normal work duties. California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) is responding to the high number of hotel housekeeper injuries by mandating hotels and lodging establishments develop and implement an effective Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention Program (MIPP) by October 1, 2018.
