Artificial intelligence - real risks
Hero Image

When you think of artificial intelligence (AI), it is easy to envision the HAL 9000 computer from Arthur C. Clarke’s Space Odyssey books and the movies made from them. The books say that HAL was activated in 1997; even 20 years later, AI clearly hasn’t reached that level, but technology is making tremendous strides forward.

Every day seems to bring forth a new article about how artificial intelligence is changing the world. Change brings risks though, and I’m not convinced that all of those risks will be covered by insurance.
