Lockton Announces Four Appointments to their Growing Belfast Team

Leading commercial insurance broker Lockton has announced four new appointments to their growing Belfast team.  Emma-Jane McGrath and Rebecca Robinson will both take up positions as Commercial Account Managers while Michelle Wilson joins the Belfast-based team as Corporate Account Manager.  Claire Millar rounds out the new appointments to Lockton’s team in the role of Contact Manager on the New Business Team as Lockton looks forward to its 11th consecutive year of growth.

Emma-Jane McGrath

Position: Commercial Department - Account Manager
New Role: Emma-Jane will manage client renewals, ensuring that the terms are in line with their demands and needs. She will also deal with mid-term adjustments and new business queries as well as some of Lockton’s scheme cases for Nurseries and Afterschool clubs in both the North and South of Ireland. 
Track Record: Emma-Jane graduated from the University of Ulster with a 2:1 Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies & a Diploma in Professional Practice. Emma-Jane holds an industry track record established at Dickson & Co and Abbey Bond Lovis where she completed her Certificate in Insurance. She is completing her Diploma.

Claire MillarClaire Millar

Position: New Business Team – Contact Manager
New Role: Claire will drive new business through prospective client outreach, actively promoting the range of risk management services Lockton offers to a wide range of sectors.
Track Record: Claire joins the growing Lockton team offering a wide breadth of experience from past positions held with Autoline Insurance and HSBC Bank.

 

Rebecca Robinson

Position: Commercial Department – Account Manager
New Role: Rebecca’s role involves looking after a portfolio of Lockton clients with more complex needs, advising clients and understanding their unique business needs to ensure adequate cover for future loss and maintain current policies.
Track Record: Rebecca is the Chairperson of The Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland’s Young Member Committee. She began her career with Lockton in Oct 2015, working within the Commercial Department but concentrating on SME & Scheme insurance. Her previous positions for Autoline Ballymena and NFU Mutual have given her an abundance of technical knowledge which she brings to this new role.

Michelle Wilson

Position:  Corporate Department – Account Manager
New Role: Michelle will manage a portfolio of corporate client account, looking over client account reviews and broking new business and renewals for a wide range of Lockton’s commercial products.
Track Record:  Michelle brings a track record of managing a portfolio of corporate and SME client accounts, having been assigned to three business development executives who she supported with account reviews, broking new business and renewals.  She has also coached and mentored account handlers on training needs and performance issues they were experiencing and is completing her Management Practice Advanced Diploma through the Ulster University as a candidate from Hughes Management School.
