Specialist Recruited to Lead Australian Real Estate Practice

Stephen Cooper has joined the Sydney office and will be responsible for driving growth and development in Australia and across Asia Pacific

London – January 29, 2015 – – Lockton’s Real Estate and Construction (REAC) team today announced the appointment of Stephen Cooper as National Manager for REAC Australia.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Owen, Partner and LLP Board Member in London said, “This is an exciting development for our business. Stephen has a first class track record in the industry and deep expertise in the international real estate markets. In Australia, the commercial and residential property sectors, including strata complexes, have remained robust and continue to attract international and national investment. Previously, Stephen was at JLT as the national practice leader for Real Estate in Australia specialising in the insurances of commercial property investors. He has many years of specific experience dealing with the insurances of FTSE 100 and HKXe Real Estate companies from his time with Jones Lang LaSalle in London and JLT in London and Hong Kong.
