Tropical Travel and the Zika Virus

If you or your employees are planning any travel to destinations in Central or South America, you need to know about the dangers of the Zika virus. This virus, which is spread by two types of mosquitoes, is of particular concern to women of childbearing age because of the risks posed to unborn babies. The mosquitoes that spread it live in certain regions of the country. With tropical travel popular this time of year, we could begin to see the virus begin to spread in the US. To learn more about the virus, please see the new alert from Lockton Health Risk Solutions and consider sharing it with your employees. Read the Alert.
