Lockton Re Targets Emerging Markets in Underserved Regions

In a recent interview with GR, George Carrington, Head of Lockton Re, and Mike Hammond, Lockton Companies Chief Executive, discussed their strategy of focusing on expansion in the Middle East, Turkey, and Korea.

“We are trying to find niche areas, either by product or territory, where we think we can add value,” Hammond explained.

They also stressed the importance of having a physical presence in the new areas, making sure they find the right people who understand the business and culture.

"So it is not us moving expats around, we are building businesses around people that not only have local knowledge but are culturally aligned with the buyers," said Hammond.
