Houston Office Recognized for Corporate Philanthropy

Houston Associates pose for a photo in front of non-perishable food items donated by Associates. It is no surprise that when Hurricane Harvey flooded Houston, Associates in Texas were ready to help their colleagues and community. Their commitment to community and caring spirit didn't go unnoticed.

Using data provided by the United Way of Greater Houston, the Houston Business Journal ranked companies that donated the most volunteer hours and funds to the United Way based on company size. Lockton ranked 11th for mid–sized companies.

“Houston and Lockton Associates have endured one of the worst natural disasters the US has ever seen; however, both our city and our company have served as a shining example of what each represent – ‘family’,” said Bob Bobo, chief operating officer of Lockton’s Texas business. “Just as Houstonians (and others) helped fellow Houstonians escape their homes to find safety, Lockton Associates did anything and everything, embracing the Lockton motto ‘We Live Service’ to help our Associates, our clients and our community.”

Even when a natural disaster isn’t looming in their community, Lockton Associates give back to the United Way every year through a charitable campaign in the fall. Associates donated 635 volunteer hours to United Way of Greater Houston in 2016 for which they were recognized. LocktonLife is about ensuring that our clients, Associates and communities receive the best possible service.
