Employers and Industry React to Closed “Minimum Value” Loophole

Hundreds of employers with low-wage workers, including retailers and temporary-staffing companies, may have been preparing to offer health plans for 2015 that don’t include hospital coverage. Recent guidance from the IRS says those plans actually don’t meet the Affordable Care Act’s definition of minimum value.
