New Health Plan Fee Takes Effect Next Summer for Most Employers

Final regulations from the IRS spell out how health insurers and sponsors of self-funded plans will pay for Comparative Effectiveness Research. With a number of ways to calculate the fee, employers should gear up now as the first payment is due (for MOST employers) by July 31, 2013.
