The Lockton Property CAT Team effectively services clients in the event of a major catastrophic event involving widespread damage and devastation.  The Lockton CAT Team provides leadership and support that helps resolve catastrophe insurance claims faster with fewer hassles for our clients.

BENEFITS TO CLIENTS

The Lockton CAT Team provides our clients guidance, assistance, and direction in the immediate aftermath of major devastation.  They assist the client in getting priority responses from carriers, contractors, and consultants, and advice as to activities to undertake for emergency remediation and stabilization.  The clients work with the CAT Team for the duration of the immediate response, getting the disaster claim off on the right path toward ultimate resolution.

ACTIVATION OF THE PLAN

After a catastrophic event, the team assembles in the disaster area as soon as it is safe to do so.  The CAT Team will map-out and triage the losses.  Daily updates to the account teams will be provided to both the office and the client in the immediate aftermath.

COMMUNICATION

Set-up procedures on events foreseen, such as impending natural disasters, flooding or hurricanes are instituted in the days before the actual loss.  Clients will be instructed by their handling offices as to the procedure needed for reporting claims, as well as identifying the client locations in potential danger.
