London – 17 May 2012 – Lockton’s Real Estate & Construction team’s latest event – a clay pigeon shoot – has raised over £5,000 for Lockton’s charity of the year, Help the Heroes.  This takes the total amount raised by the Lockton Group so far this year to over £30,000.

The shoot was held at Holland & Holland’s excellent shooting ground and saw several teams participating for charity. The event, kindly sponsored by Amlin Insurance, provided an exciting contest with Lee Baron taking the title of best overall team. Carl Whayman, also of Lee Baron, won the best shot competition. All the winners were presented with their respective trophies by Lockton’s Real Estate & Construction CEO, Richard Owen.

Speaking about the shoot, Richard Owen commented, “It was a fantastic day.  We are really pleased to have the support of our clients and contacts in the industry who generously participated, enabling us to raise more money for such a worthwhile charity”.
