Culture cited by Business Insurance and Best Companies Group

15 October 2009 -- Business Insurance magazine and Best Companies Group today named Lockton the Best Place to Work in Insurance.  Lockton received the #1 award among large brokers at a ceremony today at Le Parker Meridien Hotel in New York City.

According to Business Insurance, "the companies identified are to be celebrated as an elite group of employers that have created high-quality workplaces that encourage employees to thrive in a work environment they can love."

The magazine says that the "Best Places "earned high marks from their employees in areas such as leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, role satisfaction, work environment, relationship with supervisors, and training and development."  Read more here.

Best Companies Group conducted a two-part process with a qualitative assessment of company practices along with a direct survey of Lockton Associate attitudes.
