Nonprofit worldwide organization of more than 32,000 clubs in 200 countries needed help in three areas: 1) streamline the U.S. membership insurance program; 2) improve safety and loss control; and 3) address cyber liability. The challenge was to do all of the above in four months. Lockton’s service team re-tooled the U.S. membership program. Loss control experts presented at its international convention and its Cyber Liability program was overhauled with all the coverages bound in less than four months, resulting in a 40 percent reduction in premiums overall. The client said, “Your highly trained staff has made a huge difference in just 4 1/2 months we have worked together.”

A group of church ministries faced a difficult challenge:  getting aviation coverage for their teams travelling to remote areas. These groups are generally hard to insure due to the nature of their business and the countries they travel into. The Lockton team helped secure policies for several clients by placing them into a consortium, which resulted in affordable premiums due to a group rate. The coverage is so affordable, it’s given the clients the ability to reallocate some funds and give back to those in need in the countries they visit. After five years, the clients within the consortium could even see much of their premiums refunded.

Lockton’s 15-plus year relationship with this public education client is characterized by program revisions and adaptability to students’ ever-changing needs. Approximately 7,500 students use the coverage program.  In recent years, Lockton has revised coverage to reach students studying abroad. Lockton’s Benefits team implemented a search for vendors to assess and manage risk for students participating in study abroad programs. From there, the team created a product that could handle political or pandemic evacuations. Lockton’s ability to implement such programs is a product of their involvement on the various campuses and continued innovation for this longtime client.
