Affinity

Residents of Brighton Gardens Nursing Home in Prairie Village, Kan., enjoyed carols and cookies provided by Lockton Affinity Associates. Affinity Associates have partnered with Brighton Gardens residents for the past eight years.

Atlanta

For the last four years, children in Atlanta have received countless toys from the Marine’s Toys for Tots Program and Lockton Atlanta Associates. This year, each Associate brought in at least one toy for the Toys for Tots drive. Atlanta Associates also donated more than $400 to the Atlanta Food Bank in order to keep the food supply plentiful during the holiday season.

Denver

Families, children and soldiers overseas will benefit this holiday season from Lockton Denver’s giving spirit. Associates partnered with The Salvation Army in donating 80 gifts to Mercy Housing, a nonprofit affordable housing development company. Sixty-eight families will be warmer with new coats donated by Lockton in conjunction with Dependable Cleaner’s “Coats for Colorado” campaign. Associates also sent over 200 ornaments, mostly home-made, along with letters from a local elementary school to soldiers in Lockton’s Adopt-a-Platoon program.

Florida

Children and families who are in Miami Children’s Hospital’s Hematology/Oncology Unit are receiving many toys to brighten their holidays from Lockton Florida Associates. Associates in Florida also partnered with two other companies to collect items to send to the 528th Transportation Detachment Unit stationed in Camp Taji, Iraq. The packages included personal care products, phone cards and personalized holiday stockings.

Kansas City

More than 300 children in Kansas City will have a happier holiday season through Lockton and The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. Lockton Associates adopted 351 “angels” and bought gifts for them, based on their wish lists. Lockton also held a raffle with the proceeds going to The Salvation Army. 2007 marks Lockton’s 24th year of participating in The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

Lockton Benefits Kansas City

Swope Ridge Geriatric residents in Kansas City played bingo with Lockton Benefit Associates to celebrate the holidays this year. In addition to playing bingo, Associates brought presents for the residents. Associates also donated toys to Operation Breakthrough, Kansas City’s largest daycare center in the urban core. Lockton Benefits in Kansas City has participated in the toy drive for three years.

London

Many children in the greater London area will receive presents donated by Lockton’s London office in partnership with the East London Business Alliance (ELBA). All of Lockton International’s U.K. offices sent out an e-card in lieu of a traditional holiday card to its clients. Associates decided to donate the Christmas card budget to Crisis, an organization dedicated to helping homeless people.

San Francisco

On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, 500 families were fed a traditional dinner by Lockton San Francisco Associates at the Samoan Christian Church. Lockton Associates, with help from San Francisco YMCA and OMI Family Resource Center, delivered 300 turkeys, vegetables, bread, drinks and desserts to needy families. Lockton Associates also worked with the Family Support Services of the Bay Area to adopted two families for Christmas, providing many presents off their wish lists.

St. Louis

Residents of St. Vincent’s Home for Children received many gifts from Lockton St. Louis Associates. Lockton St. Louis Associates have been volunteering and donating to St. Vincent’s for 16 years. In addition to giving gifts, Associates hosted a jeans day fund raiser where Associates donate $5 to St. Vincent’s and wear jeans to work.
